Milwaukee Brewers Captain Christian Yelich Lists Newly Built Malibu Mansion for $30 Million

by Hannah Chambers

Milwaukee Brewers captain Christian Yelich is looking to shed his contemporary Malibu mansion, listing the hillside estate for $30 million.

The World Series champion purchased the 1-acre property for $5.55 million in 2020. At the time, the lot included “fully approved plans” from architect Michael Kovac of KOVAC Design Studio.

The 5,300-square-foot residence was completed this year, according to Architectural Digest. A KOVAC representative told the publication that Yelich plans to move his family to Wisconsin.

The 34-year-old baseball star has been romantically linked to professional soccer player, Paige Noel Almendariz, although it is not clear if the couple live together.

“Set in the heart of Malibu, this one-of-a-kind coastal retreat has been thoughtfully rebuilt from the ground up with an unwavering commitment to quality, design, and comfort,”reads the listing, which is held by Yelich’s mother, Alecia Yelich with Compass.
